In October 2019 the Action Indoor Cricket England Over 45s Men's team headed over to Cape Town in South Africa to compete in the WMS. With a smaller squad than what might usually travel, it was vital that every player contributed massively and they did not disappoint. The side competed hard, picked up skins throughout and although only winning one group game, improved as the tournament progressed. After beating South Africa Invitations in the knockout round, they played South Africa in the Bronze final. With injuries before and during this game, they unfortunately could not continue the momentum . Captain Rob Bromley was extremely proud of the way the side worked together as a unit and supported each other throughout the amazing experience, and could not thank the squad enough for their commitment shown throughout the tournament.
